Cancer Crusade In County Exceeds Goal
The McCulloch County unit of the American Cancer Society met Tuesday at Richards Memorial Library. Frank G. Kidd, a Camp San Saba rancher, injured his right hand last Monday while changing a car tire. The jack slipped as the car was raised, and the vehicle fell on his hand. No bones were broken, but 12 stitches were needed to close the wound.

Patrolman James Taylor Joins City Police Force
