McCulloch County Sees Heavy Rain But Minimal Flood Damage
Rainfall across McCulloch County averaged 2 to 4 inches with up to 12 feet at Brady Creek. Flooding was light though rivers rose, roads damaged, and Brownwood and Menard saw water in streets and stores. Detention dams held, and Site No 1 on the Wall ranch captured the most water but stayed short of the drawdown threshold.
