Chuck Wagon Supper Slated for Rochelle May 3
The Rochelle Study Club hosts its fourth annual Chuck Wagon Supper Thursday May 3 at 7 p m at the Richard Moseley ranch in Rochelle. Proceeds fund a west Rochelle community center project with tickets 1 for adults 50 cents for children. In case of rain the meal moves to Rochelle High School gym.

Soil Savers to Receive Regional Conservation Awards

Parents of Tots Ready for School To Meet Next Week
Two parent meetings for children entering first grade next fall are planned. The first at North Ward School on Wednesday May 2 at 2 30 p m and the second at South Ward on Thursday May 3 at 2 50 p m. Parents should attend the relevant school and may attend either or both. Superintendent Reynolds says the session includes meet the teachers and explanations of the health program birth certificates vaccinations and grading with a question and answer period lasting about an hour.
