Brady Youngster Drowns In Tank
Polly Ann Burkes age five died after drowning in a stock tank at the Jarvis Johnson dairy five miles northeast of Brady. She was hospitalized after rescue and died on arrival at Brady Hospital. Survivors include her parents J T Burkes and siblings Roland and Joe, with step sisters Vera Ann Watts and Rosemary Watts. Funeral services were pending at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Brady.

Fire Destroys Hunting Lodge on Mrs Bean Ranch
