Brady Jubilee History Highlights 1926 to Present
Brady July Jubilee began in 1926 as a two day picnic to celebrate a public park gift for Brady and McCulloch County. Ed Broad organized the event with politicians appearing, including Governor candidates and a Fort Worth attorney dedicating Richards Park. The Jubilee grew into a family and community celebration with parades, races, dances, and a free barbecue that drew vast crowds before some events were reduced or removed.
