50th Anniversary Reunion of NTAC Class of 1926
Last Saturday marked a red-letter day as NTAC now UTA alumni from across the country gathered in the Jenkins Garrett Room to reminisce about the early days. Duncan Robinson outlined the school’s evolution from Carlisle Military Academy to the University of Texas at Arlington and Wendell Nedderman saluted the class.

Mrs. Kathy Tallant returns to first grade. Glenda Ruth Hodge named high school girls' coach. Attendance averaged 1,418.47 students daily. Court case with Eden couples discussed. Leave policy retained. Insurance bids reviewed. a vehicle insurance committee named. Action included trading 10 classroom typewriters for new models and trading in one school car for a 1976 model. Title IX committee and athletic budget approved.

Drug Burglar Hits Tuesday at Heart of Texas Pharmacy
A burglar shattered a north window at Heart of Texas Pharmacy Tuesday night and stole a large quantity of narcotics, primarily speed. A pistol and about 35 dollars in cash were also taken. the burglar fled through the back door. Brady police investigate.

Brady Jaycees asked the City Council to ban open display of pornographic magazines. The council discussed the request but took no action pending a conference with the city attorney. The meeting covered taxes, street lights, new hires, housing authority, bids, and other actions.

Dr Charles Reynolds and wife Karen traveled to Estes Park Colorado for a doctors seminar. Before leaving they learned heater instructions for father C A Reynolds Winnebago. A phone call with a son about turning on the heater ended with the father discovering the solution and not calling back.

Marshall Gains 7 Votes in McCulloch County Recount
Floyd Marshall remains county judge winner after a recount in the McCulloch County courthouse. The panel tallied 1,505 for Marshall and 1,477 for Leifeste, shifting from 1,497 to 1,487 in the original tally due to human error in large boxes.
