23 Dogs to Show Skill With Sheep
Twenty three dogs are entered in the Heart O' Texas Sheep Dog Trials to be held at Bulldog Stadium Friday and Saturday nights. The trials test a dog's intelligence and ability to handle sheep with qualifying rounds Friday at 6 30 p m and finals Saturday at 8 p m. Tickets cost 60 cents for adults and 35 cents for students.

Brady Fire Chief Joins Fight On Blazing Concho Grassland
Brady Fire Chief Howard Salter helped battle a grass fire on Gene White head and Houston Callan ranches near the Menard Concho County line.
