Funeral services will be held at 2 p m today from Ilkerson Chapel for Mary Elizabeth Behrens 88 of 6 East 11th Street Brady. Burial will be in Brady Cemetery. She died Monday at Kell Hospital. Born December 18 1883 in Montgomery Alabama she lived in Brady many years. She married J M Lewen in 1890 and died in 1925. Her second husband Henry Behrens died 1951. Survived by two sons Joe Lewallen Terrell and Oran Lewallen San Angelo four daughters Annie Vance Mercedes Ora Davis Era Bessie Fletcher Fort Worth and Eula Bolinger Christoval one son Andy Lewlen died 1938 six stepchildren two sisters Mary Miller Menard and Mrs Behrens San Angelo 23 grandchildren 43 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Woman Injured in Two Car Wreck at Pine and South Streets
A two car collision at 5 20 p m Tuesday at the intersection of Pine and South Pine Streets damaged both autos and sent Mrs M M Bradham to the hospital for a short time. Driver Robert Ricks was southbound when the crash occurred Chief Dorman Gibbs said. Mrs Bradham was later released. Estimated damage was 400 dollars. Both drivers were uninjured beyond the shock.

Small Grain To Net Farmers 3 Million
With harvest 95 percent complete McCulloch County farmers shipped about 323 grain cars gaining 763875 dollars. Wheat oats and barley yields varied from 15 to 35 bushels per acre with good weather recent weeks. Several firms in Melvin Brady and Millersview shipped large carloads totaling 195 wheat 107 oats and 21 barley cars.
