Hicks Campbell owner of Camp bells Olds-Cadillac Co. was injured but not seriously in a Wednesday evening wreck on the Voca road about six miles southeast of Brady. He hit an open culvert hole while turning from the new highway toward his pens. he remained in Brady Hospital with soreness and bruises as his new four door Oldsmobile was badly damaged.

Three Rabid Skunks Killed in Brady Area
McCulloch County reports three rabid skunks killed in a month. Bos Worth, 76, says he shot three mad skunks on his Brady area farm seven miles southwest. He warns residents to beware skunks that may attack children or even dogs in yards.

Arch Clevenger Dies at 78 in Brady Hospital
Arch Clevenger 78 of Brady died at 12 05 am Wednesday in Brady Hospital. Born June 15 1882 in Newport Tennessee he lived in Mason and McCulloch Counties most of his life. He was Brady High School custodian 16 years elected constable in 1956 and re elected last year. He married Janara Hopkins March 6 1961. Funeral at Wilkerson Chapel 3 pm Thursday burial Union Band Cemetery. Survivors include wife a son two daughters 10 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren a brother and a sister.

Johnny Bradshaw will teach and coach at Matthews Junior High School in Lubbock starting August after completing his bachelor of science degree at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. His family including his wife Mrs. Johnny Wayne Bradshaw and daughter Deidra Gay will move from Brady for the summer.
