Mrs Fourton 41 Dies after Long Illness Fort Worth
Armand (Wanda Renee) Fourton of Fort Worth died on Tuesday at Peter Smith Hospital at 6 45 PM after a long illness. Funeral services were held Thursday in Wilkerson Memorial Chapel with burial in Live Oak Cemetery. Born September 10 1928 in McCulloch County she had lived in Fort Worth 13 years. Surviving are her husband a son Armond W Fourton Cecy Fourton and brother Raymond Jones and her parents Milton and Mrs Jones of Sonora.

Vandals Steal Over $564 in Tools From BHS Vocational Shop
Superintendent C A Reynolds reported to school trustees that a burglary Sunday night Jan 4 took tools valued at $564 from the Vocational Agriculture Shop. The theft includes a $200 electric chain hoist, a $125 air impact wrench, a $100 Starrett micrometer set, and a $50 35 mm camera. Most items bore B A D branding. The case is with local authorities, with no clues yet.

Brady approves 10 percent gas rate hike
