Twenty high school bands accept invitations to Brady festival March 2 and 3 with Caldwell and Ozona invited. McMurry College Indian Band of Abilene directed by Raymond Bynum will perform and lead the mass parade. A Friday marching contest, Saturday concert and sight reading, plus a 2:30 pm McMurry concert, and a 4 pm parade. Six trophies awarded across Friday and Saturday events.

Johnny Fuller of Mason a former Brady man and one time professional baseball player died at 7 30 p m Monday in Mason Memorial Hospital He suffered a heart attack two weeks ago Fuller was a cattle buyer in Mason and lived there 26 years His birth date was March 1 1891 in Faint Rock He and his parents ran Brady hotels and later operated Glenn Hotel in Brady He played second base for Cisco Ballinger and in New Mexico and was with Austin to Texas League as it joined the franchise He toured the East Coast with a barnstorming team in 1924 his last year He later worked as a cotton buyer in El Paso before returning to Mason He married Alice Lemberg in 1921 Funeral services were at 3 p m Thursday at Mason First Baptist Church where he was a deacon Burial was in Mason Cemetery Survivors include his wife a son Johnny Fuller of Bellefontaine Ohio a brother Charles Fuller of Brady a sister Mrs Laura Baker of Hawthorne California and two grandsons.
