New Texas Highway Map Highlights Brady Lake and Abilene
The 1965 Official State Highway Map of Texas introduces short-line mileage tools and lists six new lakes including Brady Lake renamed Brady reservoir. It adds Abi line as a new city to maps, shows 914 rest areas, and notes 3 320 miles of divided highways with declining per‑copy cost to 55.45 dollars. Copies are free via the Texas Highway Department Travel and Information Division or through tax assessor offices and tourism bureaus.
