Wade Turner, 36, former Brady High School star and ex Angelo State defensive coordinator, joins Baylor on Tuesday. Baylor coach Grant Teaff praises Turner's football mind and coaching experience in defense backs and college programs. Turner, known as Wade Earl in high school, has a long history in sports and education with a wife Madonna and two daughters.

Orphans Visit Brady Christmas Event December 21
The Rev. Evans I. Burleson brought 21 orphans from the Cherokee Home for Children to Brady Dee for a Christmas tree and meal. They dined at the Pizza Pantry, toured the residential area to view the lights and lake, then visited Burleson’s home for a tree and new toys. He said the gesture showed the true meaning of Christmas.
