Ben L. White Dies at 76 in Brady Rancher Was Longtime Local Figure
Ben L. White 76 of Brady died Tuesday morning at his home after a lengthy illness believed to be a stroke. Funeral services were held Thursday at the First Christian Church with Rev. Boswell officiating. Burial followed at Rest Haven Cemetery. White, co owner of White Brothers and Henson John Deere agency, had ranching ties in Lohn community and served as director and longtime treasurer of the First Christian Church. He leaves Mae Henson White and children, plus siblings and grandchildren. Memorials are requested to the American Heart Association or the First Christian Church.

Mrs. Lilly J. Bartlett, 86, of Rochelle, died Wednesday night at Shannon Hospital San Angelo after a long illness. Funeral services are pending at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Survived by two daughters Mrs. Jonce Adams Pla cid and Mrs. Sam Nowlin Brady, three sons Vernon Placid Willis Santa Anna Ace Austin, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
