Insect Damage Growing Farmers Meet Monday

McCulloch County farmers are urged to attend the district courtroom meeting starting at 10 a m with a morning session and an afternoon field trip to cotton fields for insect counts demonstration. Brady artist and teacher Mrs. Coleman dies at 81
Mrs Rose Coleman a Brady artist and art teacher died at 7 a m Thursday at Wheeler Rest Home 1403 South College Street. She was 81 born February 1874 and had taught art in Brady for years known for paintings of native Texas flowers. Her collection was donated to Mary Hardin Baylor College now in the college library. She was widow of bootmaker J M Coleman who died about 12 years ago. Funeral held Friday at Wilkerson Funeral Home with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. Donations to Buckner's Boys Ranch are asked in lieu of flowers.
