A Saturday concert at Brady High School will launch the Heart O' Texas Singers Reunion with groups from Fort Worth Austin Fredericksburg Arlington and San Angelo plus local performers George Jones and the Melody Girls. Tickets are 50 cents and the all day reunion follows Sunday with a barbecue dinner for a nominal charge drawing attendees from across Texas.

Brady Police Chief Golden Jones was indicted by a federal grand jury in San Antonio for violating the civil rights of a prisoner by allegedly slapping him with his hand and a blackjack.
