Bell Family to Open Heart of Texas Singers Reunion
The Bell Family of Temple is featured at the Heart Of Texas Singers Reunion opening with a Saturday night concert at 8 in Brady High School auditorium. The event draws over 1,000 visitors across the state and runs Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mrs. A. C. Stewart of Voca chairs the reunion, planning for the fourth Sunday in April. The group plans a summer tour and has shared stages with Blackwood Brothers and Red Foley, with a local record and an upcoming 12 song LP.

Jubilee Float Being Rebuilt for Fiesta Flambeau
The Jubilee parade float is being rebuilt and redecorated at Curtis Field north hangar. Parade Chairman James Isbell says the rotating heart from the 1959 float will be used and a new heart for the queen added. A trial run around the square is possible Wednesday night at about 8 30 p m prior to its April 28 Fiesta Flambeau appearance in San Antonio.

Santa Fe's Little Train to Feature in Brady Jubilee Parade
The Santa Fe Railway miniature freight train will headline Brady's July Jubilee parade on Monday morning July 2. The 92 foot long, 14 000 pound six foot seven inch high display is crewed by a Topeka shop team and geared to ride on rubber tires for parade duty.
