Floyd Marshall Named Melvin Superintendent
The Melvin School Board elected Floyd Marshall as superintendent to replace retiring K. QO. Ellington. Marshall, a Lohn native, has been Melvin principal for 25 years after starting as a teacher there. Son of Bradyites Receives Summer Institute Scholarship
W. L. Cave, Brady area high school chemistry and physics teacher, was awarded a scholarship by the National Science Foundation in cooperation with the Atomic Energy Commission and private industry groups. He will study Topics in Chemistry and Physics at Baylor University. Cave is the son of Mr and Mrs V V Cave. He previously earned a science scholarship to the University of Texas two years ago.
