Rochelle Board Accepts Hornet Coach Jerrell Rice Resignation
The Van Rochelle School Board accepted the resignation of Hornet coach Jerrell Rice, who said he must move to a district able to offer higher pay. He has not secured another job. Superintendent C W Thompson said no successor has been named. Oliver also resigned from second grade teaching to be with family in San Saba. resignations effective year end.

Free Whooping Cough Immunization Clinic Planned
The Brady Lions Club and State Health Department sponsor a free immunization clinic for children and infants next Thursday April 16 at the South Ward School auditorium. Nurses from local leagues join doctors. repeat sessions are planned for May June and possibly July.
