Melvin Women Attend San Antonio Open House Weekend
Mrs. Clara Morrow of Melvin and Mrs. Merle Breazeale of San Angelo joined Mrs. Jim Rice as weekend guests of Mrs. Rice’s daughter Mrs. Dan Grahmann in San Antonio. They toured Valdia Farms for Mrs. Woodward’s open house and garden pilgrimage. Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Waldrop also spent the weekend visiting in San Antonio with Mr. and Mrs. Alvis.

Mrs. J Roy Barnes underwent major surgery in Shannon Hospital and is recovering. The Melvin PTA meets next Tuesday with FHA help and grades room mothers. Melvin track heads to Rochelle for a district meet with finals Saturday, and a tennis meet is set in Eden Friday.
