W J Linnen a Bowie founder and longtime educator died Tuesday at age 93 after a long illness. He taught in Bowie area schools for 17 years and helped establish Bowie's Salem School. Funeral was at Burgess Chapel with High Mass at St John’s Montague and interment in Elmwood Cemetery. Survivors include a step daughter two granddaughters a niece and a nephew.
