The home of Henry Lover near Newport was destroyed by fire Monday morning. The cause remains undetermined. Henry F. Lover, 21, suffered head injuries when the roof collapsed as he escaped. treated at Bowie Clinic and discharged. All possessions were lost.

A B Masters Accident Victim Last Rites Today
Funeral services are held today at 3 p.m. at the Bowie Church of Christ for A B Masters 65 a prominent Bowie citizen killed in an accident Tuesday afternoon. Minister Ross Dye will officiate with interment in Elmwood cemetery. Masters a former alderman candidate from the South Ward had lived in Bowie 30 years and was active in local affairs. Survivors include his widow two brothers three sisters and grandchildren.

Stella Wilson Dies Suddenly at 65 in Bowie
Stella Wilson 65 died Friday morning March 19 after a two week illness in Bowie Clinic Hospital. She taught 35 years in public schools, 22 in Bowie, was a Bellevue born daughter of W. T. and (late) wife. Final rites at First Baptist Bowie with interment Bellevue Cemetery. Survived by sister Annie, brother Earl, nephews Harold and Willam Wilson, niece Maurice Wilson.
