H. B. Box learned of his uncle T. G. Raglin's death at 86 in Floria Iowa on June 17, leaving him the last of 15 children. Mrs. I. A. Stephens of Lubbock visited Miss Della Stewart. H. B. Box and his wife attended their niece's funeral in Shamrock Texas on Tuesday.
Earnest Bynum about 30 was struck by a car while on the Newport highway eight or nine miles out. He was picked up Tuesday June 27 by Owens Brumley and taken to Bowie Hospital where he received treatment for minor injuries. He was later released.
