County Sponsors Driving Course Open to All Who Need Training
Sheriff Howard Middleton announced that the Texas Department of Public Safety will conduct a three day Drivers License School in Montague June 28 to 30 1965. Classes run 7 31 to 9 30 p m in the District Court room Montague County Courthouse. The free program aims to help unlicensed residents qualify for licenses and to improve road rule knowledge for current licensees.

The Lambda Kappa Chapter of Bowie Epsilon Sigma sorority received the outstanding chapter trophy at district six in Abilene, with Eta Lambda of Wichita Falls tying. Lamba Kappa earned first place for program and multiple 100 percent awards, led by officers installed by Carrie Bachman. Mrs. J. W. Hutcheson was named district president.
