Highway crash on new Bowie Sunset stretch claims Miss Nalls life
A two-car collision on the new Bowie to Sunset pavement killed 27 year old Blanche Nall and injured nine others. J W Shelton of Crowell lost a wheel regaining pavement causing his southbound car to strike a northbound vehicle driven by Rev J M Perkes of Elgin Texas. Mrs Perkes and their child were treated for minor injuries. The Sheltons and passengers were taken to Bowie Clinic and then proceeded to Bridgeport for vacation. Miss Nall was transported to her McDade home by Burgess Funeral Home.

Bowie's Pelham Camp Park has been completed with facilities for poultry cattle and other exhibits.
