Texas Exposition Gathers Speed In Exhibitors Rush
Dallas workers race to finish the Texas Centennial Exposition by June 6 with three shifts totaling near 6,000 laborers. Dallas builds a $3.5 million civic center while the Hall of State and federal structures near completion. Major exhibitors span Ford, GE, DuPont, Kellogg, Texaco, Gulf, Western Electric, and many others as livestock pavilions, Midway, and state displays take form for a June to November event.
