International Meridian Highway meeting set in Enid
International Meridian Highway association will hold a meeting in Enid Oklahoma on March 10 led by international president Wm. Fr. Hoehn. The Meridian road runs from Winnipeg to Mexico City via U S 81 and plans to promote it as the best all weather route to the Texas Centennial Exposition opening in Dallas in June. Hoehn expects several hundred delegates to attend.

Okla man en route to Dublin dies at local filling station
M. Staggs, 73, Rush Springs Oklahoma, died Saturday afternoon at the McDaniel filling station on West Wise Street. He and son L J Staggs of Dublin Texas were traveling to visit relatives. He had long illness. Five sons and two daughters survive. Burial planned in Decatur Arkansas.

Funeral Services for William H Harrison Held at Home
Funeral services for William Henry Harrison aged 84 were held Tuesday at the home of his son A. W. Harrison where he had lived for seventeen years. The Rev W D Black officiated. The body was later taken to Cooper Texas where he settled thirty years ago. He was born in Tennessee near Columbia on September 2 1851 and married Mollie E Cross on February 18 1876. He died Sunday night while propped in bed. He is survived by his son nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
