Couple Weds On Hilltop Near Grant County Line
Cannon-Younce Lee Cannon of Cunningham Kansas married last Tuesday night after delays. The ceremony took place on a hill near the county line with a minister found after several stops, the couple returning to Blackwell for the night and planning to reside in Clyde where Cannon works as a Santa Fe station agent.

Mrs Belle Flynn of near Jacksonsville Illinois died in the latter part of October in her 78th year She was the daughter of Eli and Miranda Garrett born in Bainbridge Indiana married to George Flynn in 1854 She was the mother in law of Rev Haas a former Methodist minister at West Point She visited often with Mrs Cynthia Garner of this city and will be remembered as a good Christian woman.
