In the Republican race for the tenth district nomination the table of ward delegates shows Ward 12 will back Towle on the first ballot then split among Barrows Atwood and Paige. Ward 17 is claimed by all candidates with Barrows favored by Chairman Wiggin, while Paige expects some support there. Barrows still trails and needs Ward 12 and 17 votes to win the convention. Ex congressman Atwood and Alderman Paige failed to settle their rift at the Devonshire building talks.
