Bayard Dies at Karlstein After Six Week Illness
Dedham Sept 28 After an illness of over six weeks the Hon Thomas F Bayard first ambassador to Great Britain died at 4 30 PM yesterday at Karlstein the summer residence of his daughter Mrs Samuel D Warren His death came without pain and was witnessed by his wife two daughters Mrs Warren and Miss Florence Bayard and his son Thomas F Bayard Jr The remains will return to Delaware for funeral services in Wilmington in the old Swedish Church Karlstein the summer home of Samuel D Warren is near Needham road Doctors Cabot and Hodgdon and a Boston specialist diagnosed arteriosclerosis and general decay of age notes say he had been bedridden for three weeks prior to death.

Fraudulent Expressman Targets Gloves Firm
