Save Waitress From Gas Poisoning Rescue
Miss Josephine P. Macdonald of East Cambridge was resuscitated from gas poisoning yesterday morning by three policemen from the East Cambridge station. Officers worked several hours before she showed signs of life. The waitress did not turn the gas off completely when she retired Sunday night at her room at 99 Thorndike Street. Found unconscious by landlady Mrs. Sarah Murray.

Blue Heron Battle Near Hatchery Amazes Town
In Burlington New Jersey three men beat a huge blue heron that repeatedly attacked them as it wandered from the Koandak gold fish hatchery. A heavy steel trap the bird stepped in hampered its movements and spared the trio from more serious injuries.
