Caught After Street Chase Ends in Dewey Square

Clarence Langlois, 28, of 58 Sullivan Street Charlestown and former Elevated brakeman, led Lester Bonnell and a crowd in a quarter mile chase after buying a diamond ring on installments. Bonnell pursued Langlois to Dewey Square where he was arrested.

Nightly rest rule adopted at international workers conference

Berne September 25. The closing day saw adoption of a resolution requiring workers to have 11 consecutive hours of nightly rest from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The exception for miners allows longer rest periods.
