Mare Drops Dead at Connecticut State Fair Race

Lottie 8 a bay mare owned by Richard Blumenthal of Hartford collapsed and died in the third heat of the 211s pace at the Connecticut State Fair. A veterinarian cited internal hemorrhage as the cause.
