Enchanted Hearts Novel Inspiration Sparks Cohan Comedy
The play adapts Darragh Aldrich's Enchanted Hearts with amplified plot and deft character drawing. Charles Martin seeks distraction from ennui by boarding house life and collaboration with a gifted writer, leading to romance and publication, before a final farcical flourish. Grant Mitchell stars in Cohan’s lightly ambitious, amiable humor.

Regina Arrives From Liverpool. Crew Paid Off at Charlestown
The White Star-Dominion liner Regina docked at Hoosac Docks in Charlestown after arriving Sunday from Liverpool via Halifax. About 100 crew, mostly from the steward’s department, were paid off and sent to New York to join the Prinz Friedrich Wilhelm, assigned to operate New York Cherbourg and Southampton. Firemen on tug Western mutinied over wages, leaving as the tug prepared to sail for New York with light coal barges. The stand was not widespread, with only Western affected, while shipping board tow boats pay the standard lower rate. The Furness line steamship Stanmore, on first Boston visit, arrived from Liverpool to load jet cargo for Liverpool, after formerly being Ardgarry.
