Attleboro reports the arrest of Eugene and Clarence Skinner, respected local residents and church members, on a jewelry theft charge from a large local factory. A morning home search recovered gold and silver items, completed and unfinished, valued around $400. They confessed and are held for trial, bonds set at $1000 each.

Bettina Girard Found Intoxicated in Dupont Circle

Spiritualists establish colony near Richmond woods

A group calling itself the School of Psychic Philosophy formed a colony one mile from Richmond New York. About fifty members gathered as Miss Hattie Allen entered a trance and proclaimed herself Theodore Parker, pastor of the Unitarian Church in Boston, challenging the justice of a land ruled by gold.

Collision in Harbor Involving William H Gallison And Zuleika

A collision occurred yesterday in East Boston harbor between the Suffolk towboat William H Gallison commanded by Captain John Swim and Winthrop Thayer's steam yacht Zuleika. The Yacht struck the tug after a miscommunication and signal. The Zuleika suffered minor bow damage and sailed to a dock. the tug sustained no damage.

Prairie Back Again After Seven Day Naval Cruise

The auxiliary cruiser Prairie anchored at the navy yard at 1 pm yesterday after a seven days cruise with the Massachusetts Naval Brigade Second Battalion. Officers praised the voyage as highly successful and crews showed strong proficiency. Yard workers were dispatched to perform necessary repairs, with about forty men to be employed for five or six days by the Iwana tug and yard staff.
