Shamrock Crew Prevents Serious Yacht Tugboat Incident

New York reports that the Shamrock narrowly avoided a major accident off the New Jersey coast when the bobstay began to fail. Designer Fife ordered the sail removed and the yacht towed to its moorings where repairs were made. The ship’s trial run showed speed and strength, with the injury deemed trifling.
