South Boston Woman in Cyclone Victim of Galveston Disaster
Mrs Marguerite Gilshaw once of South Boston survived the Galveston cyclone but four of her five children are missing and feared dead. A telegram from the Galveston police said she has a broken arm and is hospitalized. Her husband died years ago leaving her a widow with four brothers and many friends awaiting news.

Stroudsburg's Striking Return To Port After Near Sinking
A coal barge formerly the Otta, now Stroudsburg, ran ashore at Boston Light months ago. While towed into port by Gladiator, crew were taken off due to water in the hold. The barge was pumped free with King tug’s aid and towed to discharge berth for repairs before resuming service.
