Two men die after fall from moving owl express car

Unmarried man killed attempting to board moving streetcar
John H. Hayes of 2459 Washington street was fatally injured when he tried to jump onto a fast moving Field's Corner streetcar on Washington street opposite Medford street at 6 35 last night. He suffered a base skull fracture and was at City Hospital not expected to survive. Motorman Edson Lyner operated the car, which did not stop at the location. Hayes fell after losing balance while trying to board the car.
