West End Fray Ends in Fatal Brick Attack
Three Somerville men, John Campbell, Frank Campbell, and Owen Dugan, were arrested on homicide charges in Boston after Rotchford, 17 Prospect Street, West End, was beaten and struck with a brick during a midnight struggle July 21. John Campbell confessed to throwing the fatal brick, claiming self defense as Rotchford allegedly hurled bricks first. The trio will be arraigned in Municipal Court, then move to Superior Court after waivers.

An alarm from Box 258 reported a blaze at a two and a half story brick house on the grounds of the Consumptives' Home at Grove Hall Roxbury.
