A large electrical generator at the Boston Elevated Company power station on Albany street blew out last night causing severe injuries and a citywide transit tie up for about 20 minutes. Oiler W. C. Jennings of 92 Waltham street suffered burns and was taken to City Hospital.

Former Deer Island deputy master Lorenzo Perkins goes on trial in Suffolk Superior Court for allegedly striking convict James Lang at Deer Island on Oct 2 1905.
