Wreck Dredge buoy placed near Queen wreck in harbor channel

A marked gas buoy with a cage lantern and red white black bands was set 250 feet NE by E of the Queen wreck sunk in the main ship channel on Sept 9, 1836. The light tower sits 9 feet above sea level. The former east buoy was moved 200 feet SW by W, creating a triangular danger area. The hog frame remains above water but sinks gradually. Bearings are magnetic. Ordered by the lighthouse board.
