Levi C Wade on the Cutting affair in Mexico visit

President Levi C Wade of the Mexican Central railroad returned from a four week trip to Mexico. He said the Cutting case was exaggerated by Northern journals and that there was little excitement in El Paso or the Mexican states. He denied any dealings with Cutting or Medina and voiced regret over General Jackson’s resignation. He added the railroad’s affairs look more encouraging now.
