Three escapees from Titicut Farm remain at large
After three days the three men Dean Dempsey James Dolan and Edward Russell fled Titicut State Farm by a hole cut in the wall to let rats out. Authorities have largely ceased the active search as they issue circulars to nearby police and warn of Russell a dangerous inmate.

Washboard Shield Fends Off Gunfire in Pittsburgh
Mrs Valley Molnot of Derry Pennsylvania saved her life by using a washboard as protection from bullets fired by her husband. Six bullets lodged in the washboard before their son George 17 fired at the husband and Mrs Molnot struck him with the washboard. Molnot faced a felonious shooting charge and is held for trial.

Will Open Fountain in Back Bay Today
The city water division on Massachusetts Avenue near Westland Avenue will complete and operate a new cast iron fountain today replacing the old stone trough used by horsemen and teamsters. Cut on Neck in Quarrel Between Residents
