Strife of Tongues and Earthquake Lessons Featured in Boston Churches
Boston churches opened for winter as bishops and pastors preached on the power of words and on recent Charleston earthquakes. Bishop Cheney urged inward refuge in God's presence, while Rev Griffis spoke on human strife and divine judgment. Other sermons covered new theology, a dividing line in Christianity, and welcome back messages at Tremont Temple and Park Street churches.
