Sergeant George Munroe Dies in Roxbury

Sergeant George Munroe of the Boston police department died at his residence at 24 Centre Street Roxbury late yesterday afternoon after a week of illness. A popular officer and assistant to Medical Examiner Draper, he was appointed May 28, 1872 and served in several districts.

Death of James Lapworth designer at Ro chester factory

James Lapworth a designer at the James Lockhart picture frame factory in Rochester New York died suddenly last Thursday afternoon at age 55. He collapsed while at work after taking a measurement in his area. An autopsy was ordered by Coroner Kiernchernst. The family, residing in Dorchester, is notified and will proceed with interment in Rochester. He leaves a widow and four children, including a married daughter.
