Storchio to Sing in Boston for 1914 15 Season

Henry Russell announced the Boston Opera House has signed Italian soprano Rosina Storchio for the 1914 15 season with an option for the American premiere of Messager Beatrice. Messager plans to attend the first Boston performance.

Mr Russell tells reporters at the Opera House he secured American premiere option for Messager's Beatrice to premiere in Paris this winter. He plans Boston debut in 1914 15 with Messager possibly attending. He also signs Rosina Storchio for next season and announces Felix Weingartner to lead the Boston Opera Company February through March. He forecasts revival of La Gioconda Manon and Manon Lescaut with Monna Vanna early December.

Congress at dedication in Washington October session

Sixty five Congressmen were named by the House to attend the dedication of the restored Congress Hall in Philadelphia. The Senate will designate 18 members to represent the original thirteen states.
