No Fear of Epidemic as Typhoid Cases Decline

The Board of Health reports falling typhoid cases in South Boston with little danger of an outbreak. Seven new infections appeared in Washington Village near Dorchester, linked to impure milk though good milk is now used. Doctors say patient progress is good. Carney Hospital has 18 cases from South Boston with two deaths so far.

Bradley Falls From Wharf Injures at City Hospital

John Bradley aged 55 is hospitalized after a 35 foot fall into a boat hold at a wharf where he worked. He sustained multiple broken ribs and a hip injury but is expected to recover. Bradley resides at 141 Bowerie Street.
