Boston faces the worst sugar shortage in its history amid shortages and price controls. Food Administrator Endicott condemns grocers who require buying other groceries to sell sugar and urges housewives to cut sugar use. Relief to arrive in about two weeks as West beet sugar and Hawaiian and Louisiana supplies reach Boston.
