Velona 25, of Havre street East Boston, fired on Mrs Milstein and taxi driver Davis after pursuing threats against his lover. The first shot struck Milstein’s elbow while Davis escaped when the bullet jammed in the barrel. Velona then attempted suicide. He claimed to have acted from love as an investigation proceeds.
