Manhunt Traced From Albany to Boston in Murder Case

Police followed a three month search from Albany to New York and Bridgeport to Boston. Information from Rutland Vermont led to a suspected address. Rutland youth Watson lost on Antilles torpedoed voyage

Herbert F. Watson 23, a Worcester trained radio electrician, was lost when the army transport Antilles was torpedoed and sunk near the war zone. He had enlisted April 8 and had spent evenings studying for his chosen career in Worcester. He leaves his mother Mrs. Walter L. Seger and a brother Ernest J. Watson.
